Project Overview

PALY is a layered residential transformation designed for a second chapter of living — where history, character, and personal expression come together.

The project focuses on reinterpreting an existing home, blending retained elements with new material interventions to create a space that feels both familiar and renewed.

Design Concept

The concept is built around layered eclecticism with industrial undertones.

Instead of creating a completely new identity, the design respects what already exists — and enhances it through contrast, texture, and composition.

Old meets new
Raw meets refined
Memory meets function

The result is a space that feels authentic, expressive, and intentionally lived-in.

A rich, contrasting palette defines the project’s character:

Exposed brick surfaces to introduce raw texture
Warm wood finishes to balance and soften
Dark metals for an industrial edge
Layered fabrics and upholstery for comfort

Each element contributes to a dialogue between structure and emotion.
